Session comments
Welcome!
Welcome everyone! I hope this will be a good opportunity for all of us to exchange ideas. Looking forward to all your contributions!
Welcome
Dear authors,
Welcome to the session “Digital Art, Imaginaries & Visualities”. As co-chair of this session, I would like to invite everybody to browse and read the papers, ask questions and make comments. Be sure that your feedback is highly appreciated! In this spirit, many thanks to the authors for their work! And let’s get in touch and have a lively debate!
Invitation to VIC CineClub
I would also like to take the opportunity to invite you to VIC CineClub, which I am curating. This is a virtual space for interaction, where all members of IAMCR sections and working groups are invited to share their comments on selected pieces of high-quality world cinema. Currently, in homage to France as host country of IAMCR, we are discussing 5 outstanding French films from past and present: “Breathless” (1960), “Muriel” (1963), “Swimming Pool” (2003), “Rust and Bone” (2012) and “Titane” (2021). Do you want to give us your feedback on one of these films? Just send me an e-mail with your comments and become part of our experience. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes
Thomas Wiedemann (thomas.wiedemann@ifkw.lmu.de), vice-chair of VIC

CHALLENGE TO BE ANSWERED
DEAR AUTHORS! I defy you to explain why your submission is part of this session! You have to analyze the title and verify if it is appropriate for your submission and how you can fit your submission inside the title! It is a challenge! Have a nice Sunday answering my question! Denize Araujo denizearaujo@hotmail.com
Dear authors, Thank you…
Dear authors,
Thank you again for your contributions. To break the ice and interact, it would definitely be a good idea for you to search for connecting lines between the papers in this session. So do you see commonalities with the other papers? What can be connected to? Do you think the papers in this panel are well put together? Please make an effort and start the discussion!
Phase 1 last day!
Dear Authors! tomorrow is the last day of phase 1! Some of you are very active interacting a lot! Congratulations! Some did not interact up to now, so I would like to see at least replies to comments about your papers! VIC needs interactions!
