Bienvenue dans le panel du cinéma français !

My name is Fabíola Paes de Almeida Tarapanoff and I am a Post-Doctorate Student in Literatures, Arts and Cultures- Faculty of Humanities - Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL) and in Multimedia Art-Faculty of Fine Arts –Universidade de Lisboa (FBAUL). I am doctor in Communication- Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (UMESP), with extension at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I work as professor for universities in Brazil like SENAC and FIAM-FAAM-Centro Universitário, teaching for undergraduate and graduate courses and I have a consultancy, where I work as a writer of educational material for institutions like Faculdade das Américas (FAM) and as a scriptwriter of corporate videos for companies like Havaianas and Claro (Praxis Business).

I am happy for Denize and Thoma's invitation to lead this panel on French cinema. I hope we can exchange ideas about the texts and prepare for the face-to-face meeting, for those going to Lyon! Hugs and even more!

Jusqu'à plus tard!

Dear authors,
I would also like to welcome you to IAMCR 2023! I am sure we will have a lively discussion, both here and face to face in Lyon!
I would also like to take the opportunity to invite you to VIC CineClub, which I am curating. This is a virtual space for interaction, where all members of IAMCR sections and working groups are invited to share their comments on selected pieces of high-quality world cinema. Currently, in homage to France as host country of IAMCR, we are discussing 5 outstanding French films from past and present: “Breathless” (1960), “Muriel” (1963), “Swimming Pool” (2003), “Rust and Bone” (2012) and “Titane” (2021). Do you want to give us your feedback on one of these films? Just send me an e-mail with your comments and become part of our experience!
We are looking forward to reading and hearing from you!
Thomas Wiedemann, vice-chair of VIC (thomas.wiedemann@ifkw.lmu.de)

DEAR AUTHORS! I defy you to explain why your submission is part of this session! You have to analyze the title and verify if it is appropriate for your submission and how you can fit your submission inside the title! It is a challenge! Have a nice Sunday answering my question!
