Dear authors,
I would also like to welcome you to IAMCR 2023! I am sure we will have a lively discussion, both here and face to face in Lyon!
I would also like to take the opportunity to invite you to VIC CineClub, which I am curating. This is a virtual space for interaction, where all members of IAMCR sections and working groups are invited to share their comments on selected pieces of high-quality world cinema. Currently, in homage to France as host country of IAMCR, we are discussing 5 outstanding French films from past and present: “Breathless” (1960), “Muriel” (1963), “Swimming Pool” (2003), “Rust and Bone” (2012) and “Titane” (2021). Do you want to give us your feedback on one of these films? Just send me an e-mail with your comments and become part of our experience!
We are looking forward to reading and hearing from you!
Thomas Wiedemann, vice-chair of VIC (thomas.wiedemann@ifkw.lmu.de)

Dear Authors: can you explain why your submission is in this session about "new concepts & technologies"? the reason for my submission #3107 to be in this session is because I coined a concept of "repertorial-spectator" to indicate a spectator who is able to recognize past images of previous scenarios in remakes or in films that revisit passages of older films. Other researchers have already coined concepts of an interactor-spectator, or coauthor-spectator, visitor-spectator and even emancipated-spectator. Well, I´m waiting for you to explain it in order to verify if you are in the right session! I hope you accept my challenge! Thank you!

DEAR AUTHORS! I defy you to explain why your submission is part of this session! I did it already! Take a look in my answer ! You have to analyze the title and verify if it is appropriate for your submission and how you can fit your submission inside the title! It is a challenge! Have a nice Sunday answering my question! Responding to Dr. Denise Araujo, I believe this is the right session for me to be at this event. During the development of my doctoral thesis I created the concept of protopoetics and in the study that I present here I applied this concept to three films by Louis Malle. Protopoetics analyzes the development of the poetics of an artist-creator based on the internal and external dialogues proposed by him in the development of his artistic/communicational objects. Here I show how Malle presented the same original motto three times for the construction of three films in protopoetic dialogue.
