| Mexico 2009 - Political Communication Research Section Report |
The Political Communication Research Section received a strong number of more than 120 participation requests for the 2009 Mexico Conference. Thanks to the Mexico organization, we were allowed to obtain 14 slots totaling 62 papers and 20 poster sessions. Spanish was the language for 4 panels.
Maria-Jose Canel, Vice-Chair of the section, took care of the last minutes changes due to some no-shows, with the gracious help of Sigurd Allen and Esther Pollack, well-know and appreciated hosts of the 2008 Stockholm Congress, and also longtime members of the Political Communication Research Section. They report a good level of satisfaction from the participants. The call for paper for the 2010 Portugal Braga Congress will soon follow. In the meantime, questions may me directed to the Political Communication Research Section Chair, Professor Philippe J. Maarek, maarek[AT]univ-paris12.fr . Philippe J. MAAREK |
