The book originates from teachers' discomfort with youth culture and suggests different ways for thinking and researching cultural and learning conflicts observed in high school classrooms. Faced with the classroom's loss of meaning for both teachers and students, this book tries to open paths for building new meanings starting from listening to the students, their worlds and cultures.
